Firstly, I agree with you that it’s crucial to focus on the well-being of you and your loved ones first. You probably won’t be able to save, or even help, everybody. Staying focused on what’s important will help you to stay motivated to do what needs to be done.

You’ve also touched on something my wife and I discuss regularly: What if our bug out location isn’t accessible? We still haven’t settled on a Plan B yet.
I love it that you brought up the time of year, something most people, even preppers, sometimes leave out. We update our BOB’s in the Fall and again in the Spring.
