If you use "Food Saver" bags you can freeze per made meals that can be heated up in boiling water or in the micro wave. One way to store wet items is to put them in the food saver bag and freeze them 1st, than vacuum pack the items. This lets you have the best of the 2 worlds. I like to make a big crook pot of bean soup and store it frozen in vacuum packed bags ready to just heat up and eat. If you have meat with sharp bone ends put the meat in to unused paper coffee filters to protect the vacuum bags from the sharp ends of bone. These will also help absorb the juice's when you are vacuum packing it.

It would be wise to inform people that anaerobic sealing of freezer food is fine as long as it stays frozen. However, once food starts to thaw in an unrefrigerated situation (power outage), botulism can form rather quickly. All sealed frozen food, if thawed, needs to be eaten as soon as possible.
