A Prepper’s Will To Push Forward

Prepper's Will - A Prepper's Will To Push ForwardWill, in my opinion, is strong determination from deep within a person. That’s exactly what you need to survive and thrive during a catastrophe.  The way I see it we are preppers and survivalists because we gather and store things for a future that we believe could be a worst case scenario, but we also study, train, practice, learn, and go the extra mile so that we can survive and thrive during that possible worst case scenario.

It takes real will or will power to pursue the things we pursue in the face of our many critics not to mention the costs, time consumption, and physical and mental energy we expend.  That’s prepper’s will.

Let’s be honest, if nothing catastrophic ever happens it won’t feel very good listening to family members, friends, coworkers or whoever tell us how wrong we were and how right they are. There is a slim and I mean very slim chance that will happen but you and I don’t think so.  Natural and man made disasters are happening on a scale and frequency that probably hasn’t been witnessed since the dinosaurs walked the earth.

By the way you and I if alive back then, would have probably been a Preppersaurus!  Did you like that? I thought you would.  So basically we live in the best time since the dinosaur extinction event to be preppers.  Let me ask you, do you know anyone who actually practices the art of prepping and survival that doesn’t have prepper’s will?  Most likely you don’t. You may know someone who talks a big game or dabbles at it but I’m sure that everyone one you know that actually practices and lives prepping and survival has a tremendous amount of prepper’s will.

If you are reading this article and are trying to decide whether to be a prepper or not you probably should first ask yourself some very poignant questions while being totally honest with yourself. For instance you should ask yourself, “am I the kind of person that follows through on projects?”  “Do I already, in my daily life, utilize great will power on things that I feel must be accomplished?”  If you answered yes on those two questions then you could and would possess and make use of the powerful prepper’s will.

Prepper’s will is not something to make light of.  It’s that will that will cause a prepper to not hesitate when it comes to defending his supplies and his family and friends. It’s that prepper’s will that will pull the trigger at the appropriate time and take care of business.  It doesn’t matter if you work in construction, wait tables, practice dentistry, work in retail sales, or as a nurse, if you have prepper’s will you will work tirelessly to stock the right stuff, learn all you can, and become proficient at needed skills.

Before ending this article I would like to thank my fellow preppers for any and all contribution they may have made towards getting the word out of probable upcoming catastrophic events, sharing knowledge in a huge variety of things, participating in discussions, testing and evaluating new products, and most of all letting your passion guide you as you live the expression of prepper’s will.

For all of you good people who are going about your normal everyday lives and prepping I have written a little poem just for you. I hope you like it and if so pass it on to other preppers.  It’s called;

Prepper’s Will

A prepper’s propensity to survive and thrive through nature’s valley and hill, look up with pride, it’s prepper’s will

To create from nothing a homestead, hearth, and window sill, witness the strength of prepper’s will

Family and love the hearts greatest joy, a hearty meal, our needs to fill, the best times to share prepper’s will

From stored food to guns and ammo plenty, no need for coin or dollar bill, we’re filled with the riches of prepper’s will

Harsh realities come home to roost, no desire to harm but a fate we could seal, we’ll get through it all with prepper’s will

And when it’s time for us to make the final bug out journey, may we succumb at last and kneel and give thanks for a life of prepper’s will
