Large, powerful earthquakes with the potential to kill and injure people and destroy or damage property occur periodically in many areas of the United States and the world.
The schoolroom view of volcanoes depicted entire cities inundated by white-hot lava, then buried under tons of ash, in times long ago and far away: Pompeii, the island of Crete, and the lost city of Atlantis, all were destroyed in the mists of antiquity. Many people believe volcanic activity in recent times has been confined to the Hawaiian Islands, where physical evidence of volcanism serves as a tourist attraction. This is only part of the picture.
In part one of this article, we talked about all the potential threats to our grid systems and how our reliance on technology affects us. We also talked about how to become a part of the solution before a grid-down disaster occurs.
A grid-down disaster can happen at any time. It is probably the most serious threat to our existence right now. When the power goes out, people will panic, and things will never be the same. Can you survive a grid-down disaster?
Back in 2008 when the world economy was damaged as never before, many people started preparing their lives for doomsday. But, it never came, so they eventually quit. Nowadays, media and politicians claim that doomsday will never come and that this is just an illusion. But is it? Of course not and there’s more to it than you may think of. Doomsday may occur today or in 10 years. At that moment, do you want to be a person who is prepared or a person who will wait for handouts?
Surviving in today’s modern times is becoming more and more difficult. Besides the natural hazards we are prepping for, we also have to pay attention to the human factor. Man-made threats seem to increase with every passing year and terrorist attacks and active shooter scenarios are present now more than ever. Surviving an active shooter scenario requires proper knowledge and people should know how to respond to such an attack.
It is no longer a secret that our government is preparing for a grid down event. Such event is currently one of the most probable crises that would impact every area of our lives. A power grid down event doesn’t mean the same thing as losing power for a few hours. There are many critical things that most people are not aware of.
A major crisis will create multiple waves of refugees. In time, these refugees can become a major problem for the entire world. The conflict in Syria and the Paris attacks are just recent examples of what human exodus can lead to. When SHTF, there will be a lot of domestic refugees roaming around and we should be prepared to handle them.
You wake up in the middle of the night and hear a crash sound outside. The lights are off and you stumble in the dark to find a working tactical flashlight. Once you get out you notice that a power outage hit your neighborhood, you check your phone but it’s dead too. That doesn’t make any sense, the street lamps are off and nothing seems to work. Then it hits you “It happened, an EMP attack happened and everything is fried.” It’s time to rely on your EMP attack survival plan and keep your family safe.
The first item I would like to discuss is how the elite are preparing for the coming economic collapse by having elaborate bunkers installed or moving to foreign countries. My goal is not to convince you that the elite are preparing for economic collapse. My goal is to make a simple statement to the elite and that statement is, you have to come out sometime!
I’m hesitant to write what I perceive to be the truth of what is waiting in the wings for Americans, but feel compelled to do so in order to convince as many people as I can to prepare for the inevitable.
A massive power outage is a true nightmare and it takes weeks or months to wake up from. When the power grid is down, people will stop functioning. in fact, just a few people have the skills to survive without the use of electricity.
You never know when the world could end. Imagine waking up one day with no electricity, no internet, and no coffee. How would you live? When the brown stuff hits the fan these would be the least of your worries. You might even be one of the lucky ones. There are far worse ways to go and we will look at the worst doomsday scenarios, to see what chances of survival we have.
